Most importantly, I am located in a great area of the beach that is safe so you can walk to everything from the hotel. Directly across the street is the Water Taxi and for 13.00 you can buy an all day pass and go to 20 stops throughout the city. Whatever you decide to do regarding accommodations, try to choose any hotel south of Bayshore Dr. The reason I am telling you this is because north of Bayshore there is a halfway home that takes in kids, who are run a ways, many are troubled, some are on drugs and they cause problems for the tourist and locals. I make it my business to let the tourist know, because if they are ever robbed here in Ft Lauderdale, they will never return and that affects my business. At least if you are made aware and you chose to say in that area you will pay closer attention to any possible problems and the likelihood of it happening to you will be less and if I were you I would want to know. I run my hotel more like a bed & breakfast, my guest are people, not just a room number and I care for their safety as much as my own.
We provide a full coffee makers and coffee, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, beach towels and chairs, iron/board, radio alarms, hairdryers, and VCR's in most all my rooms.
